You may know I LEND money to entrepreneurs in developing countries through a large organization that helps numerous small ones.

Years ago I donated to an organization that ... drilled wells, actually. Lately I've remembered and spoken of the joy I felt every single time I received a receipt for my donations telling me how many wells we had caused to be drilled to date.

Over just a few yrs, while my daughters were teenagers, our donations caused numerous wells to be drilled. And while I was visiting Sri Lanka around that time I saw many people many times lined up at community spiggots ... to carry water home. Like it was for us in my childhood, right here in Canada, running water is still a luxury! And clean water is an even bigger luxury for some of the most heavily populated continents.

Thank you for sharing in my joy ... and thank you for spreading the joy of giving one of life's basic needs to your company, to your employees and their families and, most especially, to your own family.
