BIRTHDAY UPDATE: My boys gave me a card this morning with $37 to donate today. They were so proud, they couldn't wait to tell me about it. I was even prouder to enter their donation!!

Every child should have clean drinking water. In honor of my children, I am trying to help make it so every child can have a clean glass of water whenever they want it.

I know I take for granted the fact that I can fill up a glass of water for my kids whenever they are thirsty & every night before they go to bed. They both have a special spot next to their beds where they keep their water cups. I can't imagine not being able to do that for them, and I can't imagine being a mother and not being able to provide something as basic as water for my children.

I'm turning 37 years old, and instead of asking for gifts, I'm asking for $37 from everyone I know. It's not going to me, though. All of it is going to build freshwater wells for people in developing nations. If you cant donate $37, how about $3, or $1? Every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations.

$5000 will give water to 250 people 50 families 1 community.
