Il mio compleanno è vicino. Di solito non sono entusiasta di invecchiare, ma quest'anno sono davvero grato di aver vissuto un anno felice in buona salute. Recentemente ho appreso che milioni di bambini in tutto il mondo, non riescono a vivere per vedere il loro quinto compleanno perché non hanno accesso a acqua pulita e potabile.
Vorrei che tutti i miei amici versino almeno 1$ per ogni mio anno. Ogni centesimo del denaro raccolto finanzierà direttamente progetti per l'acqua pulita nei paesi in via di sviluppo. Ancora meglio, charity Water ci mostrerà esattamente quali progetti abbiamo finanziato una volta che sono stati completati (che richiede circa 21 mesi). My birthday is almost here. I'm not usually excited about getting older, but this year I'm really thankful to have lived another happy, healthy year. I recently learned that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.

I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
