goal
There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. We can change that.
My birthday is almost here. I'm not one for celebrating (because who has time for that?!), but this year I'm following Mindi's example of using the birthday as a means of raising consciousness and a little money, too, for a good cause.
Did you know that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water? We can help change that.
I'm asking for everyone who's able to donate the cost of a cup of coffee & a croissant (or tea & a bagel; or a bottle of water & a banana) to help me raise money to build water projects in developing countries. I've known about charity:water since before I moved from NYC back to L.A. **Every penny** of the money raised will directly fund these clean water projects. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
Help me reach my goal - all I need is 50 people to give $10 each. Or 16.6666667 people to give $30! Please donate to my birthday campaign!
I Love this!!!
Happy Birthday to you!
