Almost a billion people in the world are living without clean water -- but how much are they really living? Millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. 30,000 people will die this week alone. A mere $20 can save 1 person from that dreadful fate.

On 11/11/2012, I'm turning 33 and I want to make my birthday matter this year. All I want for my birthday is to fund clean water projects for families in developing countries. By helping me reach my goal, you will be giving numerous families what they need for survival and growth.

Charity:water is an amazing organization and every dollar you donate goes directly to building the wells. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll be able to see the communities we've helped!

Therefore, I'm asking for $33 from everyone I know, or whatever you can give -- and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations.

My goal is to raise (and exceed if at all possible) $1111. I believe this has the potential to be something really cool and really amazing. But I can't do it alone. I need YOUR help. Whether it be donating, or helping spread the word, or both. Let's all make a difference together.
