goal
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty; we have no idea what it's like to walk 8 hours for clean water, much less walk 8 hours at all; and we have no idea what it's like to constantly miss school to make this trek for water, a chore which is most often given to women and girls. As some of you know, I recently had the opportunity to travel to Rwanda, a country where Charity: Water works. I was able to witness the water crisis in this country firsthand, and I saw far too many school-aged girls walking miles with huge water jugs instead of sitting in classrooms.
100% of what you give will go directly to fund this clean water project on the ground, and when the work is complete you'll get the GPS coordinates, photos and information about the exact community impacted.
I am hoping to raise $12,000 in my campaign this year. Last year we raised $10,000 thanks to all of you and I think we can beat that! Reaching this goal will enable C:W to drill a well and bring clean water to an entire community into perpetuity. I can't do it without you - anything you can give is a huge help!
HBD!!
