Dear Friends,

This year has been the best year of my entire life, even though trying and daunting, through the struggle I have found my light at the end of the tunnel. Now the future only seems to hold even more promises of happiness for myself and those I love. This being the case I could care less about my birthday. But then I get to thinking, with so many blessings around perhaps it's my turn to return the favour to the Universe. To God! Maybe it's your turn too. I noticed the more I was concerning myself with my family and people I love, the more good things were happening in my life that I never thought possible. Please join me on this little (hopefully big) adventure !

I'm celebrating my birthday like never before.

I'm asking for $28 or as little or as much as you can give from everyone I know -- and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll be able to see the communities we've helped!

My goal is to raise $2,800 by my birthday, August 15.
