Wanna Buy Me A Drink For My Birthday?
I'm donating my birthday (April 9) to Earth Month, and specifically to Clean Water with Charity:Water.
So, what I'm asking from my amazing friends and family, is to Buy Me A Drink for My Birthday. My favorite drink, as many of you know, is WATER! I love me some filtered water. :)
When you make a donation to my fundraiser for Clean water, you're sharing my favorite beverage with people who haven't had the luxury of turning on a tap and pouring themselves a glass of pure, clean water to drink.
If all my friends just spent $5-$10 on this donation, it would make a huge difference!
I can't imagine not being able to draw clean water to drink from my house or salon.
Or to have to walk miles to get a bucket of dirty water to drink or wash in or cook with.
But that is the reality for so many.
This year, Aveda partnered with Charity:Water, to make change happen. I'm deeply committed to helping and being of service to this cause.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for your support.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
