Susan Ada Moody, 74, of Roseville, CA went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 20, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born December 31, 1941 in Springfield, Massachusetts to James Kemple Sr. and Ada Mariom Kemple. She is survived by her siblings Janet Kemple of Roseville and James Kemple of Southern California.

Susan was a loving and devoted mother of five: Guy Moody of Ventura, Steve Moody of Roseville, Brian (Carol) Moody of Atlanta, Christine (Peter) Conran of San Tan Valley and Joshua (Liz) Moody of San Luis Obispo.

Susan was grandmother to 9; loving and spoiling them the best she could: Christa, Susie and Cody Conran, Jacob, Jessica, Agnes, and Gus Moody; Nicholas and Gracie Moody.

Susan was a long-time resident of Roseville, California where she lived since 1974. In addition to her fulltime job as a mother and wife, she was a dedicated employee, retiring from the Sacramento County after working for several departments throughout her career – Assessor, Airport, and First 5 Commission.

Susan had a smile and energy that affected everyone around her. She loved to volunteer at church and help others! She truly had the gift of service.

She loved to sing and would do so in her church choir and several singing groups. She had a gift for serving people with her hospitality and was always preparing meals made with love. She was a wonderful dancer, who loved quilting, reading, and sewing. She had an eye for home decorating and had fun helping others.

She was so very loved by many and will be missed by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Susan asked that donations be made for clean water projects!
