On October 10th, my 20th birthday takes place and what could be "just another year" I know is meant for extraordinary achievements in 2016. You see, many of us can get caught in our own world and take for granted what may seem so accessible yet so necessary: clean water. Even the water in our toilets is clean (yet in some more than in others:)!
But many people around the world lack this luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe-poorly sanitized water. But it doesn’t have to stay that way! There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that provide clean water to communities around the globe. Water changes everything! Beyond health, clean water frees hours for education, family, and productivity in other functions.
Like OhSweetSixteenth four years ago, the H20 (Hope20) fundraiser is here to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world and invites any and everyone to jump on board!
By sharing a one-time $20 gift, together we can accomplish bringing clean water and hope to over 166 people! Can you imagine the life change even for just one family?
With any amount given, every penny is used to build clean water projects! Can't beat 100%! Once complete (usually 21 months), charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
Water counts, people matter. This is an amazing opportunity to play a part in something so much bigger than ourselves. Together, we can make a long-time difference: round 2 style!

#Hope20 has come to a close! Together, we raised $780.00 for clean water and that's worth celebrating! 100% of the money we raised will be sent to the field, where it's about to change lives! Over the next 21 months, I'll keep you updated as our project gets underway from charity: water. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for making this fundraiser possible! It's been a pleasure aiming for the moon and reaching the stars rather than settling for the sky. Making a greater increase than the last OhSweetSixteenth has been a huge win! I'm excited to share with you the fruit our accomplishment and witness the lives changed from what we did do together. Praying for you in this exciting year! Much love! - Jon Jim
