There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!

Water. The fuel of the summer. During a hot tennis match, out on the golf course, or walking to your next class; JKCP knows that water is what keeps everything and everyone going in the heat.

This summer, JKCP found a new opportunity to make a difference and we are committed to spreading the water to people who need it most. Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand Filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

Our goal this spring was to fund a well for an entire village in need of the simplest thing: clean drinking water. We made it! We raised over $9,000 that will help people get clean water.

Now, let's keep it going! This summer we will be getting our students involved in the fun. We will be holding a Water Walk at camp so our students can understand what kids their age, all over the world, have to do every day. Also, this summer, use #jkcp #charitywater in your social media posts and JKCP will donate $1 for every tweet, photo and post!

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, Charity: Water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped. How cool is that?
