Help me celebrate my birthday this year by giving the gift of clean water.

Over the past four years, it has become more and more clear how privileged and blessed we are to live in a society of readily accessible clean water: reach for a faucet, take a drink from a water fountain, open your fridge, twist open a bottle of water or dive into a swimming pool.

In a world where we struggle with the pursuit of luxury, nearly 800 million humans fight for life and nearly 2,200 children under the age of five who die each DAY due to waterborne illnesses and a lack of the most basic element of human life: clean water.

No human being should have to face the struggle of survival from a lack of clean water.

100% of the money donated will be used to build clean water projects, and when complete, charity: water will send photos and GPS coordinates showing the exact community helped. Charity Water funds their operating costs through a separate group of private donors, so 100% of all public donations go directly to people in need.

As it has in the past few years, your generous donations to this cause have meant and continues to mean the world to me. As I've said before, there is no gift I could ask for that God hasn't given me already and there has been no bigger blessing in my heart than giving the gift of life to others who have nothing and no one to remember them in their struggle.
