So this is 40…As I approach my 40th Birthday I feel so blessed for the life I have and want to pay it forward as I enter these next years of my life. Charity Water is an incredible organization that brings clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. So for my 40th birthday I want to raise $40,000 and build 4 water wells for thousands of people to have clean water for life. My family has been supporting Charity Water for years and love what they do and believe strongly in their mission. I have 2 precious daughters and I can’t imagine them not being able to go to school and get an education because every day they have to walk a 10k carrying a 40lb jug to fetch water for their family. What breaks my heart even more is that the water they get is not drinkable. Our toilet water is better than anything they will ever find. I would love for you to support me as I try and reach this crazy goal to change lives.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
