More than 600 million people around the world lack access to clean water - it's an almost inconceivable at a time when many of us have so much.

Consuming contaminated water is a huge problem that can lead to many diseases and ailments. In some places even getting to these unclear water sources can take hours each day, taking up valuable time that could be spent on other endeavors. This time burden is disproportionately felt by girls who frequently have to miss school to source - often unclean - water.

The good news is that access clean water is a solvable problem in many parts of the world. Through interventions such as drilling wells and providing BioSand filters, we can deliver clean water in a cost-effective way to those in need.

Brothers Harry and Will MacInnis recently ran a sprint triathlon and are looking to up the ante. In February we are facing down a bigger challenge – a half marathon. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to provide clean water for a village of 300 people. We are thankful for any amount you can give in support of this challenge!
