On the last day of November I will turn 27! Please help me celebrate by donating $27 (or more, or less) to charity: water! 100% of your donation will go toward bringing clean water to people in developing nations.
I don't usually like to broadcast my birthday, but I was encouraged by my sister, Alexa, to give up my birthday for a good cause! So, friends, family, or even strangers, I don't need shoes or scarves this year - but you can help someone who needs clean water. Last year I donated to Alexa's birthday campaign and I saw where the wells were built in Ethiopia and Malawi! It was so exciting to be able to make a difference in places I've never been.
I tried to count how many times a day I turn on a tap - I lost count after a shower, washing my hands, brushing my teeth, rinsing out dishes, and filling several glasses of water to drink. I could do this all before going to work or school, because I don't have to walk 3 hours for clean water. Please consider donating to help children, mothers, families, and communities to grow and flourish by providing them with the basic necessity of clean water!
Happy Birthday Haleigh!
