Water is powerful. We have seen its power in the tri-state area where we have been devastated by Hurricane Sandy. People have lost their lives, homes, and belongings. Families are homeless, without food, water, and power. We know water is powerful and we know it is also a basic human need.
I decided to start this campaign so that we can help people here in the United States while also helping people in developing countries who live without the things we so often take fore-granted. Charity: water brings clean water to the 800 million people living without this basic need.
100% of all funds we raise go directly to the work on the ground. And when the projects are finished, charity: water will show us the communities we've helped! In addition to helping those in developing countries, I will personally match 25% of the money raised for hurricane sandy relief, to help our friends, our family, and our neighbors affected by this natural disaster.
With the holidays approaching, I ask you to think about how much you have. Can you afford to give $10? If I can get 100 people to donate just $10, we can raise $1,000 for Charity: water and $250 will be donated to the Red Cross in their efforts to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy. If $10 is too much, donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated. I know this campaign can make a difference
Please join me.
Happy Thanksgiving
