Give Clean Water to Celebrate my 40th BIrthday

I believe that milestones such as the one I will be celebrating in June are a time for celebration--but they are also a time for reflection. As I reflect on my life, I am so grateful for my friends, family and my good fortune in being able to do a job that I love. Others have not been as lucky.

So this year, I really want my Birthday to be about giving and helping others. I would like to bring a little good fortune to people who have not been so lucky.

This year I am turning 40, and in lieu of gifts, I am asking for your help. Please consider joining me in raising a glass--a glass of water--for many who do not have clean safe drinking water. All the money raised is going to build freshwater wells for people in developing nations.

A billion people in the world are living without clean water - but how much are they really living? Millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. 45,000 people will die this week alone. The lucky ones won't, but still walk hours each day to get dirty water to give to their families.

My birthday wish this year is to give clean and safe drinking water to some of the billion living without it. I want to make my 40th birthday matter.
