Wow, guys! I am impressed! You already fulfilled my original goal, which means we have given 26 people water for 20 years! I am now hoping we can move that up to giving 40 people water. Thanks again!
I am turning a quarter of a century this year. One of my greatest fears is that my life won't mean anything, that by me living nothing else for the rest of the world will ever change. I fear that I won't make a difference.
Millions of people don't live to see their 5th birthday. They don't even live to one-twentieth of a century (If I did my math correctly)! And why? Because they didn't have access to clean, safe water. They never have even had a chance to make a difference, let alone be able to play, laugh, and experience life, let alone life to the fullest.
My 1/4 of a century birthday is another chance I have to try to make a difference: I'm asking for $25 from everyone I know - and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations. Even better, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth.
My goal is to raise $500 for my birthday, September 17th. Please consider helping me. I will lead the way by giving the first donation. Thanks for helping out!
Happy Birthday Elisa! This is awesome. Great work!
Happy birthday sis!
Happy Birthday Sweety! I love you!!!
