A few weeks ago, I had the chance to see a conference keynote presentation by charity: water founder, Scott Harrison. His testimony was incredible, not only because of what he's done, but how his life was turned completely around. So, I was challenged by Scott to raise money for my Birthday for their September Campaign to help bring clean water to 100 villages in India. This will be a small part of the mission to provide clean water for every person on the planet. That's a huge and crazy vision, but every little bit helps.

So I'm asking for my age (34) in dollars from everyone I know. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.

I will turn 34 on September 6. My goal is to get 100 pledges by my birthday.... Yikes! That doesn't leave us much time! So help me reach my goal. Please donate now!
