goal
This year I'm celebrating my birthday differently. I don't want presents or drinks. I want clean water.
Women and children around the world walk hours every day to collect water for their families. And the worst part? The water they collect can make them really sick. Terrible right? Well, we can actually do something about it. Just $20 can give a person clean water to drink.
The best part is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water projects around the world, and when those projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the impact we made. I can't think of a better birthday gift.
Please donate to my campaign, and make this the best birthday ever!
If everyone that reads my blog can give just $5 each we'll easily make my goal of $5000 for this campaign. If you're a regular reader of Her View Photography you know I try and use my photography to help others. If you've ever said to yourself "yeah but how can I help I'm just one person" - now's your chance to stand up and be counted! We are each one, but together we can make a difference - help us help the children!
Let's get more clean water out there.
Good luck!
Happy birthday Darlene :)
Getting it started with the amount of my age this year!
