Once again it's that time of year where I get older. Because, and this may be a surprise to some of you, you only actually get older on your birthday. That day of aging is nearly upon us, and I'll be turning the big 30.
For the last several years I've been doing charity:water campaigns for my birthday, because, in reality I am blessed far beyond what I need and deserve. I have great friends, a great job, access to everything I need nutritionally, and so many other things. So it's time to pass some of those blessing along to others whose needs are much more immediate than mine.
Globally there are many people who lack access to something as simple as a clean glass of water for their children. The water they have is far from clean and requires large portions of their days to collect. This is our opportunity to help them get that time back, while increasing their health.
So please donate what you can. Together we can make a difference this year.
Ok now for the extra details! This year I am growing a mustache out as part of this. I will be letting it grow from Nov 1 to my birthday at which point I will tally the votes (Please note in your donation whether I should shave it or leave it until Jan 1) and respect the voice of the people! So get your vote in by donating and leaving a message letting me know how you are voting. For every $10 you donate you get a vote. With all that entails...
Thanks y'all!
Happy belated birthday—and an even happier New Year.
Nudging it up.
