Why Courtney Fulton is fundraising for clean water

There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Enjoy your water, clean theirs.

780 million people lack clean water. That's more than 2 ½ times the population of the United States.

Just imagine. Imagine waking up every morning before dawn to walk miles and miles to carry a 10-gallon bucket of water that's dirtier than the water sitting in your toilet bowl right now, filled with hosts of bacteria, parasites and leeches.

Imagine having to choose between cooking a meal, or washing your children's school uniforms so they won't be sent home from school. From bathing yourself, or having enough to drink.

The water crisis is real. We may not think it affects us, because we can turn on 10 different faucets in our homes and it's right there. But for millions in Africa, this is not the case.

U-ffect is a multi-faceted organization with one branch dedicated to solving the water crisis. By purchasing your own reusable, glass water bottle, or by making a generous donation, you will be contributing to any one of charity: water's initiatives. 100% of the profit will go directly to funding charity: water's projects.

And when those projects are finished, charity: water will send us proof in pictures and GPS coordinates, so we can see the actual people and communities we impacted, and we will share this information with you directly.

Even a little can mean a lot. Thank you for your support!
