For my 24th birthday, I have decided to donate my day to support the millions of people without clean water instead of making a list full of gifts.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink, and easy access to this clean water. But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.

It is easy to hear these facts and think a small donation will not help..but on average it costs only $30 to give one person clean water! There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world. A donation of any amount absolutely can have an impact on these communities!

I started this fundraising campaign after my trip to Ethiopia with charity: water to help build these types of projects around the world, and I'm hoping you all will support charity: water and end the water crisis with me!

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
