So this year I'm not asking you all to watch me drink cocktails in a bar or trapse up to my mum's house in the suburbs of North London in fancy dress to celebrate my birthday.

I'm asking if you'll spare a penny or a pound, a nickel or a dime, a drachma, ok a euro or two, to help me raise money for a cause I'm passionate about - helping bring clean water to the world. 1 in 8 people do not have access to clean water. Shocking. Yet just $20 can help charity: water, the organization I'm fundraising for, bring someone clean water for 20 years. I've come to know the charity: water guys well over the last year and what I really love about what they do is that 100% of the money you donate goes to fund water projects. They don't take any overhead out of it.

So if you can spare a minute or two, and a little bit of the green stuff, I would be so grateful if you would consider helping me reach my goal of raising $5,000. That's how much it costs to build a well to bring clean
water to a community of 250 people. It would be the best birthday
present I could dream of.
