I'm calling this the Brooklyn Bridge Birthday Bonanza. I'm in New York on my birthday for the first time ever. I'm a photographer and I love meeting people and being able to help others. For my campaign I will be in Brooklyn Bridge Park, on the West side of the carousel. I'll be offering to take portraits for passers-by. I'll then upload them to a blog where they can download a copy and also have the option to donate to my campaign! I'll be there from 4:30-6:30. I'll have my camera, an iPad, a jerry can, a jerry can t-shirt, 26 yellow balloons (for my age), a bluetooth Jawbone Charity: Water speaker accompanied by some tunes and a smile!

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
