I'll keep sharing this until I meet my goal or start to annoy people. I'm trying this out for my birthday. Basically, I'm asking you all to give money (tax deductible) to this cause in honor of my birthday. I will be happy to give you some motivation to donate, but I'm drawing a blank on that. Maybe I'll make it into a contest for a random drawing, but I have no idea what you could win in it...besides my accolades for being the person I pick. And maybe a drawing of a unicorn.

I've decided to do this for my birthday. Of course, you won't be getting any autographs if you donate a certain amount nor will your donation enter you into a drawing for a chance to go to comic con at my expense. I can't even pay for myself to get there! I will, however, thank you and appreciate whatever you do decide to give. And if you really want it, I'll sign something and send it to you, too, so donate away!

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, 1,400 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
