This summer I turned 40 years old, and I figured there was no better way to celebrate and really feel my age than to run my first (and maybe last) marathon while fundraising for charity: water! Clearly this is a VERY unique idea, as no one ever runs marathons to celebrate meaningful birthdays - totally not a thing. š But to take it one step further (see what I did there?), I'll be unlocking different actions that I'll have to take during the race for each major donation milestone we hit prior to November 3rd. Check them out below and please help me embarrass myself while also funding a water project for an entire community!
For starters, I'll be personally matching the first $1K in donations. And then...
$2,500 - I'll listen to only Creed for the remainder of my training runs.
$5,000 - I'll run the marathon with a mustache - style to be determined through votes from anyone who donates.
$7,500 - I'll bleach my hair for the race.
$10,000 - I'll buzz c: w's jerry can logo into both sides of my head.
