Throughout our lifetimes, we have been so fortunate. We both have amazing friends and family who are with us every step of the way. We are also blessed to have all the resources we need to support ourselves, but we are very aware that everybody is not as privileged.

When we came together with our teacher Ms. Miller, we began to think of problems throughout the world. After some research we narrowed our interest down to helping combat the water crisis. We looked into many different charities and organizations and found charity: water to be the most reliable and effective.

On Anna’s Bat Mitzvah, instead of gifts she asked for donations to this campaign. Because of the generosity of so many, we have already reached over $10,000 which will build one well, but now we have adjusted our goal and are hoping to fund two! In the time that they used to spend collecting water, they can now make money for their families, send their children to school, make food and do other things that we take for granted every day.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be truly thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink. But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. It doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

100% of the money you donate will be used to build clean water projects. And when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
