It's September and my birthday is coming!

If you know me well, you know that I am extremely thankful for life and after all that I have seen and experienced in my travels (especially this year) I feel especially thankful this year to be turning 31 soon!

Do you know that millions of people don't live to see their 5th birthday, because they didn't have access to clean, safe water? This year, I have witnessed kids drinking/utilizing dirty/unsafe and sewage water and it just broke my heart!

As you know, every year I find some charity with which to align myself for my birthday...and this year is no different!

I'm asking for $31 from everyone I know - and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations. Even better, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth.

My goal is to raise $5, 000.
