On July 14th, I'm turning 27.
At first, this seemed like it is only a number.
But then I found out that millions of people don't live to see their 5th birthday. And why? Because they didn't have access to clean, safe water.
27 years of age is not just a number for millions of people. So, I'm celebrating my birthday like never before.
I'm asking for $27 from everyone I know - and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations. Even better, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth.
My goal is to raise $1000 by my birthday, July 14th.
I'm giving up on..Gucci bag, that beautiful Prada bag, Chanel earrings, YSL sandals, gorgeous Marc Jacobs dress...It could go on forever, This is how much it means to me. Come on- you can afford to feed the kitty for a good cause! Thank you sooo much in advance!
