goal
My 10th birthday is in a month and I wanted to do something different this year. I watched a video that really changed me. My little cousin, Miko, was adopted from Ethiopia. When I saw how difficult life is there because they don't have clean water, I wanted to do something about it. Well, we can actually do something about it. Just $20 can give a person clean water to drink. So, instead of presents this year, I'd like to ask you to donate to my campaign. I'd like to get a clean water well dug for the village near where my cousin was born, in Tigray.
The best part is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water projects around the world, and when those projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the impact we made. I can't think of a better birthday gift.
Please donate to my campaign, and make this the best birthday ever! Also, my friend is donating her birthday too and her mom made this video for us, please check it out: http://vimeo.com/69281328
Keep up the good work Abby, you are an inspiration.
