It started as a simple project to give up some of the excess we had in our lives and turned into so much more.
During this season of lent, when we are all focusing on what we can sacrifice, why not take the excess from whatever it is we have chosen to go without and build a well for those in need. Clean drinking water is a necessity and yet so many in the world don't have access to this basic necessity. So take whatever money you have, big or small, whether you're giving up Starbucks, fast food, sugar or happy hour, and let's build a well together!
100% of the money donated will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
