Sometimes we need to share difficult stories with each other. At charity: water, we‘re always trying to find innovative and compelling ways to tell them. That's why when our partners at Frosty Pop approached us about making a video game to help raise awareness about the water crisis, we were immediately excited about the opportunity.
703 million people on the planet don’t have access to clean and safe drinking water.
We're on a mission to change that.
Inspired by hundreds of real stories from the communities we serve, This is a True Story follows the lead character, Bontu, on her journey to collect water, giving players insight into the hazards and complexities that the 703M people who lack access to clean water are confronted with every day.
