Liberia is on the road to recovery after years of brutal civil war. But while the economy improves and HIV rates steadily reduce, diarrheal diseases are the second leading cause of death for children.
Our solution in Liberia is to rehabilitate old water projects that have broken down since the war. We also train communities to practice safe hygiene and maintain their own projects for years to come.
