A birthday party is a celebration of life. Let's join together on my 31st birthday and spread life!

My 31st birthday is in February. Instead of the usual party (and the fun gifts that come along with that), I'd like to do something a little different this year. I think this is going to be a special year and one that is marked by fresh inspiration. With that in mind, it seems right to kick off this year with a charity: water campaign.

There are so many people that do not have access to clean, safe drinking water. charity: water is doing a stellar job of addressing this problem with real solutions.

Let's do something cool together. I'm asking family and friends for my age in dollars. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
