If you know me, you're probably aware that I love fundraising for a great cause. Especially one that is FTK (for the kids).

Every day, 2,200 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. Every. Day. That's just not okay in my book.

I've done a lot of fundraising in the past year, but I can't stop when there are so many kids out there that need our help. Clean and safe drinking water is something our generation can (and should) get behind until everyone on the planet has access to it.

charity: water is the bomb dot com in the philanthropy world. They started the concept of donating your birthday, and they started the 100% model (i.e. every dollar the money goes toward the cause) way before anyone else was even thinking about it back in 2006. I'm super pumped to be raising money for charity: water this September. This organization has changed the way I think about philanthropy, changed the way I've worked with my teams, and inspired me to never stop working for what I believe in.
