We thought it would be nice to help people get some fresh H2O. We were very fortunate to travel to Hawaii last fall and due to a storm, the water was out for 2.5 days- big deal. We drove a mile in our lovely rental car and purchased very cheaply, several gallons of water to brush our teeth, to drink, and to flush the fabulous toilets.

We have always been aware of the lack of clean water for millions of people on the planet yet had never experienced firsthand, anything other than a flowing faucet. This experience has inspired us to help people all over the world gain access to clean water. It seems like a wise investment to have people of all ages be in school, work,and contribute to society rather than hauling dirty infected water each day to their families.
