We are blessed. We have two beautiful children, a warm home, plenty of food to eat, family who love us and friends we care about.
When we're tired, we can relax (even if it means the dishes don't get done). When we're hungry, we usually have a choice of things to eat. When we’re thirsty, we can grab a glass out of the cabinet, turn on the faucet, and get a cold drink of water.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the case for much of the world. Nearly 800 million people around the world are living with no access to clean water. But we can help change that.
This year, I (Ryan) turn 31. My lovely wife (Martha) turns 32. And we’ve decided that this year, instead of presents, we want to ask at least 100 people to donate $32 to charity: water to help fight the water crisis.
If you can’t donate $32, that’s okay. Anything and everything helps. If you can give $5, you will have provided someone with clean water for FIVE YEARS! That’s amazing! Every penny counts and EVERY PENNY goes to fight the water crisis (not to buy a ream of paper for the charity: water office). Please donate what you can and tell others about this. We’d love to blow our campaign goals out of the water (pun intended)!
