Birthday's come around a lot quicker these days, seriously I feel like i just momentarily shut my eyes and another year goes by. As much as that freaks me out, I seriously am thankful for each day I have and consider it a gift from God. I don't want to waste it. You just have to open your eyes to realise you are so lucky, to think millions of people don't live to see their fifth birthdays is a sobering thought.

One of the reasons is because they are without clean drinking water!!! Something we have access to so easily, just turn on the tap and you can guzzle down those liters of clean drinkable water. Or if you want to be a bit fancy go down to your local cafe and you can pick up some sparkling H2O. All in all its accessible to us in many forms. Yet for some in this world, to drink water is in fact a life risk, one that they have to leave there home's to collect.

So I'm not concerned about getting older, I'm celebrating that I am alive and I can make a difference and so can you. Feel free to help me, help others this birthday.

I am hoping to fund $500 and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects were funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll be able to see the communities we've helped!

Pretty stoked that Charity Water are also celebrating a Birthday on the 6th September, oh yeh DOUBLE BIRTHDAYS!!!!!!
