I always thought I'd be divorcing someone else. But this year, I've decided to divorce myself (You can read more about that here --> http://goo.gl/jK2VO). Instead of acquiring new stuff, I'm giving away or selling all the things I bought in my 20's. Throughout the process, I've learned that happiness lies in experiences, not ownership.

For my 32nd birthday, I'd like to invite you to join me in creating a better experience for people all around the world lacking something most of us take for granted: clean water. 1 billion people are living without clean water as we speak. 45,000 of them will die in the next week alone. That's unacceptable.

Instead of giving me more stuff for my birthday -- stuff which I'm already trying to get rid of -- I'm asking for you to give $32 or $320 to Charity:Water. If you watch the video to the right, I trust you'll be hooked in less than 30 seconds.

My goal is to raise $32,000 for my birthday for Charity:Water. Due to the example set by this amazing organization, 100% of your donations will go directly to water project costs in places like Ethiopia and Uganda. Your donations will help build clean and modern wells near highly-populated villages.
