Hello my friends,
I'm turning 29 years old and instead of asking for gifts, I'm asking for $29 or more from everyone I know. The money will be used to erect a well for a community in Ethiopia.
The well will bring clean drinking water to 250 people. It will save approximately 3 hours a day of those women and girls who carried the water before from a contaminated water reservoir. The saved time will be used for education and agriculture and will boost the development of the community significantly.
4 engineers will work 3 months to build the well. It will be 20m (66ft) deep.
100% of all donations go directly toward the project. 12 months after this campaign ends, charity: water will show us where and how every dollar we raised ended up helping in the field. We'll see GPS coordinates, photos and more details about the community we've impacted.
