In just 4 years, charity: water has changed the lives of over 1 million people. That’s incredible! But that’s only 1/1000 of the problem fixed.
If only 2 million of us would give up our birthday and raise an average of just $1000, we could reach all 1 billion people without clean water.
So this year, my birthday wish is not for more gifts I don’t need, but to help people around the world have more birthdays. Instead of asking for gifts, I’m asking for $31 or more from everyone I know.
It’s not going to me though. 100% of the donations will go to build freshwater wells for people in developing nations. All operating costs are covered by a group of private donors so every dollar you give can go to people in need.
