The first time I heard the story of how Scott Harrison started charity: water I was moved like never before.
Almost a billion people on the planet don't have access to clean drinking water. A basic human need. That's one in eight of us. charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. What's great is that 100% of your donation directly funds water projects.
The work that he and his team have accomplished over a few short years is tremendous. Over 1,000,000 people now have clean drinking water through the 2,000 plus projects they've started.
I'm on a mission to change this. I'm asking you and anyone you know to donate so we can fund water wells in developing countries.100% of every dollar we raise goes to water projects, and when the projects are complete, all are "proved" using GPS technology, photos and posted on Google Earth.
My goal is to raise $5,000 by the time that Scott arrives in Omaha this May to share his message at Big Omaha.
$5,000 is enough to revolutionize 1 community. 250 people. 50 families.
Our community has been involved with some amazing things over the last few years, now with your support, we can harness our energy to change the lives of individuals on the other side of the world.
Please join me in helping. Thank you.
Iâ??ll forgo a few $16 margaritas. Thanks for sharing the story at BigOmaha.
Thanks for all of your efforts!
