Hi everyone!

I want to say thank you for visiting this page and taking the time to check out the amazing work charity:water has done across the world. Hopefully some of the info and statistics on here will help sway you to make a donation to this fundamental cause.

I had the opportunity to hear Scott from charity:water speak last February when Kwiat joint hosted a fundraiser at the Surrey Hotel (http://www.kwiat.com/blog/kwiat-charity-water/). Sarah and I were both extremely impressed with the methods Scott and his team were using to both fundraise and implement clean water projects. We also were surprised to learn that 100% of their donations go directly towards projects allowing them to stretch even a little bit of money, such a long way. And all of this is for an extremely precious commodity, which we all take for granted every single day.

So, in 2 weeks I am turning 29. For my birthday this year, I would like to replace any gifts (including but not limited to: drinks, shots, dinners, sweatshirts, pats on the back, etc) with a donation to this campaign. Please help me reach my goal by donating $1, $29 or any other amount. I hope to reach $2929 by October 5th, and if we can get there, as a birthday present to myself and acknowledgement of all of my wonderful friends and family, I will double it.

Again, 100% of all donations go directly toward water projects. And about 18 months after this campaign ends, charity: water will show us where and how every dollar we raised ended up helping in the field. We'll see GPS coordinates, photos and more details about the communities we've impacted.
