On September 21, 2010, I turned 39. WHEW! Well, believing that we don't grow OLDER, we grow WISER, I wanted to make sure I used this celebration of my life to do something smart; something that wasn't about me but about helping someone else. So, this year, I decided to donate $2 dollars to charity: water for each person that posted a birthday greeting to my Facebook wall. Thanks to the 85 friends that showed their love on Facebook. Your friendship inspires me to celebrate life to the fullest each and every day. For my 39th birthday, this inspiration resulted in my own personal donation of $170.00 to charity: water to help provide clean water to those who are without it. Water is indeed elemental to human life.
