My birthday is almost here. This year, along with my birthday beach bonfire, I have decided that as long as my parents get me the Lego sets I want, I would like to ask my friends to help me raise money for Charity Water.

I recently learned that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. I want to help change that.

I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.

To sweeten the pot, my mom, Vidette, is donating some of her expertise to those who contribute to my campaign:

1. All contributors will receive, via email, a free, downloadable copy of her book, "S.O.U.L. Mama - Seeing Only an Unlimited Life."

2. Any contributions of $100+ will receive a Modern Zen Intuitive session with Vidette. (Receive #1 as well).

3. For contributors giving $500+, you will be featured on a ReinventionChannel.com "Spotlight Interview" highlighting you, your company and/or your mission in giving back to the world. (Receive #1 and #2 as well).
