I had the pleasure of listening to Scott Harrison speak at World Domination Summit in 2012. I heard about charity: water and the organization's mission to give more people access to clean water.

Did you know that almost a billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean drinking water? Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday.

So this year, in honor of my 25th birthday, I'm celebrating differently. I don't want presents or drinks. I want clean water. Just $20 can give a someone else clean water to drink, something I take for granted every day.

One hundred percent of the money we raise will directly fund water projects around the world, and when those projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the impact we made. I can't think of a better birthday gift.
