The average distance that women and children walk for water in Africa and Asia is six kilometres.

Water, water everywhere but not a drop to drink.
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. Really thirsty. Water flows cleanly and freely from water reservoirs to our houses.

Millions of people globally don’t have that luxury. Women and children walk several kilometres every day to fetch large jerry cans of water just for cooking. Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses. We can change this. There are simple solutions; drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand Filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water invest in projects like this. To bring clean potable water to people living in impoverished areas.
