On 11/23, I'm turning 27.

At first, when this date was approaching I thought WOW, I'm getting old..."3 to 30"... and didn't want to really think of it, sometimes we get caught up in thinking about the things we haven't done,but then I got over it lol and saw that I have so much to be grateful for. So for my birthday I wanted to do something different as a symbol of appreciation for what I have and also a symbol of high hopes and faith In God for all that is ahead of me.

So here it goes:

Millions of people don't live to see their 5th birthday. And why? Because they didn't have access to clean, safe water.

So it's not daunting that I'm turning 27. In fact, I'm embracing it and celebrating my birthday like never before.

I'm asking for $27 from everyone I know or whatever you can give - and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations. Even better, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth.

My goal is to raise $500. Hopefully you can help me to raise much more.

Please consider helping me. Do it for the cause but also do it symbolically, appreciating all that you have and all that is to come.

It's so easy to bless another when we stop thinking about ourselves.
