It seems i've underestimated the generosity and awesomeness (see, you can make a noun out of anything) of incredible friends and family with the goal reached 2 weeks before my birthday. Thank you so much everyone. You're amazing. Uh. MAZE. ing.
Please don't be deterred to donate because the bar graph is full: there are still 1 billion (- 53) people who still need our help. xo
(Original message:)
So, this year i'm giving up my birthday in the hope that you'll direct your love and generosity to those people who, in 2009, still don't have access to clean water.
There are so many requests these days for donations, but the great thing about this project is that every cent of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations. In fact, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth.
My goal is to raise $1000 by my birthday, December 6.
Please consider helping me.
Thanks and much love x
Happy Birthday LiJean - lots of love from the Patons
